Mitt Romney believes Obama speaks with envy? This political campaign is great! It’s demonstrating how status quo views change. Maybe some of the 1% is not ready for change…the 99% are, and it’s not because we are envious. The wealth gap in this country is indicative of entitlement & power struggle, rather than success and merit. Quiet rooms? Means sweep controversial & significant issues under the rug.
Lucas Films is bringing the story of Tuskegee Airmen to the forefront, via feature film. I’m proud to say I’ve met Tuskegee airmen in my lifetime, even flew a plane once myself. Had I been born during the ’40s, my own exhilarating first (instructed) flying experience would have been marred by racial prejudice & injustice - in fact, a black woman I might not have been allowed to fly at all. We must never forget where we were, if we expect to see where we are going…these men set a precedent for black youth today. It is possible to fly a plane, if you wish.
